If no bowel movement occurs the next day, increase the dose by 1 additional capsule (e.g., 4 + 1 = 5 capsules) for each day without a bowel movement. On the other hand, if a bowel movement is too loose (diarrhea) with the initial 4 capsules, reduce the daily dose by 1 capsule each new day (e.g., 4 - 1 = 3 capsules) until a daily bowel movement is achieved that is neither too hard nor too loose.

The idea is to FIND THE CORRECT AMOUNT of CONSTIPEND ® to take each day to achieve at least one regular bowel movement every day.
